ABOUT DR. GABBAY

Training and Credentials

I received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at UCLA. After obtaining my medical degree (M.D.) at UCLA, I completed residency training in Adult Psychiatry and additional subspecialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA.

During my Psychiatry residency and fellowship, I learned the significance of therapy and coordination of care with other allied health professionals in the care of my patients. My training was broadened by various schools of psychotherapy, as well as elective rotations in Couple's Therapy, Family Therapy, and Women's Mental Health. I also have had extensive experience treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders and substance abuse difficulties in a residential treatment setting.
